Home Grown Springfield

Farm to School Program

The Springfield Farm to School Program connects the district with agriculture community with the goal of purchasing and serving healthy and nutritious foods to all of our students! These relationships support the local farmers and producers while bringing everyday heathy meals to our schools.

Three farms in the Pioneer Valley (Cecchi Farm in Agawam, Outlook Farm in Westhampton and Czajkowski Farm in Hadley) and one farm in the central region (Lanni Orchard in Lunenburg) plant and harvest a variety of local foods for the Springfield Public Schools’ culinary and nutrition program.
